We are dedicated to Brotherhood, fellowship and community service. The members of the lodge continue to aspire towards the fulfillment of their Masonic virtues through their actions, their faith and their brotherhood.
Masons have faith in God but Masonry is not a religion. Masonry is one of the few platforms where men of all monotheistic faiths – Christians (including Catholics), Jews, and Muslims -can come together because it is open to all men who believe in a Supreme Being
Any man who has belief in a Great Architect and a hope of immortality may see in it the assurance that death is but a pause, not an end; a gateway, not a wall.
Freemasonry is not a charity but as in any fraternal setting, the need of a Brother or his dependents, will receive the sympathy and support of his Brethren, not always or necessarily, financial.
We show tolerance and respect for the opinions of others and are kind to and understanding of fellow human beings.
We practice charity, not only for members and their families, but also for the community at large.
As Freemasons progress through the Craft, they discover different aspects of themselves and developing leadership and a range of skills that even they might not have known they possessed. Freemasonry offers its members leadership opportunities at the lodge, District, and Grand Lodge level. By developing leadership techniques that fit their personality, Masons unlock the door to their full potential.
By attending Masonic Lodge meetings and learning from your fellow Masons, you’ll strengthen the bonds of fellowship as you join together with like-minded men who share ideals of both a moral and metaphysical nature. You’ll enjoy the friendship of other Masons in the community, and you’ll be welcomed as a “brother” by Masons everywhere in the world.
Freemasonry is described as “a beautiful system of morality veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols.”
There are many organisations and Orders which form part of the widespread fraternity of Freemasonry, each having its own structure and terminology. Collectively these may be referred to as Masonic bodies, Masonic orders or appendant bodies (or orders) of Freemasonry.
